100 years at Hutton and Shenfield

Centenary Celebrations

In June 2013, the Church will be celebrating 100 years since opening it's doors for the first time. To prepare for the next 100 years we are upgrading the sanctuary and to build and equip a school (including food garden & water supply/sanitation) in Mpinga Kayove, Burundi.

Sanctuary Project

The installation of new double glazed windows for the sanctuary has been completed and nearly all the funds for replacing the windows raised. Talks/Plans for the other sanctuary items are still taking place.

Mpinga Kayove School Project

Over the next three years (and as part of our Harvest celebrations) will be focusing on a different phases of project.
In 2010, the target was £6400 to provide the materials to enable the building of the school

With the help of Members & Friends of HSUC,
and Pupils & Staff of Herington House School,
and the Tax Man via Gift Aid.
In 2011, we aim to provide furniture & equipment for the school, a food garden and water & sanitation.
